I've been up for almost 24 hours so I'm not going to start posting now about my Scotland trip.  BUT I promise this week I'll start sharing my awesome pics (trust me, you'll want to see these!), my entertaining stories and I'll FINALLY reveal the winner of the New Identity, New Year Contest!  Stay tuned!

Happy New Year!!  I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's and that you welcomed 2011 in safely!  I'm still in Edinburgh celebrating, but I PROMISE to share my fabulous pictures and stories with you when I get home in a few days.  From the 25,000 people who carried torches and lined the streets to Calton Hill to the 80,000+ people who celebrated on the Royal Mile, in the Prince's Street Gardens and along Prince's Street itself, I'll share it all!

T Minus 20 Hours.....

Yes, folks, that's right!  In about 20 hours I will begin my journey to Edinburgh, Scotland for a week of Hogmanay celebrating!  I'm frantically packing today and cleaning my house so I don't come back to a mess.  I'll be staying in this hotel and enjoying the view of Edinburgh Castle from there.  The hotel has free wifi, so I will be posting and bringing you pictures of my grand adventure!  I've never been to Scotland in the winter before and since they've had horrendous weather lately, it will definitely be interesting.

In case you haven't heard the reason for the trip, I'll turn 40 in 2011.  I decided a few years ago that I wanted to celebrate from the first moments of the year.  What better place to start the celebration than Edinburgh?
